Jose Sanchez-Hernandez, 30, of West Harrison, was arrested on Sunday, Dec. 1, after a Greenwich police officer observed a black Chevrolet Traverse drive south onto Frontage Road from I-95 without for a stop sign, said Greenwich Police.
Once stopped, officers found Sanchez-Herandez with glassy, red eyes and smelled the odor of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle.
Sanchez-Hernandez was asked to participate in a field sobriety test which he failed, police said.
During a background check, officers also found that he did not have a valid driver's license, police said.
He was charged with DUI, failure to obey a stop sign and driving without a license.
Sanchez-Hernandez was released on a $250 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, Dec. 16.
